2: Lisbon/Fatima |
 |

Arrive in Lisbon,
where you will be met, assisted, and escorted to your motorcoach.
We will begin with a scenic ride through the countryside to Fatima
with a stop at Santarem. A short walk through narrow streets brings
us to the Church of St. Stephen, where you will behold the Blessed
Sacrament
known as the Holy Miracle of Santarem, a relic
that's been kept here since 1269. On to Fatima. After checking in
to your hotel, the balance of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight
Fatima. |

3: Fatima |

We will begin
the day with Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions and a
visit to the Basilica, you see the site of Francisco's
and Jacinta's graves; visit the hamlet
of Aljustrel, where the children lived and tour Valinhos,
the site of our Lady's appearance after the children's return from
prison. Tonight we will join pilgrims from around the world for
a candlelight procession. Dinner and overnight Fatima. |

4: Fatima |

Today
is a free day in Fatima for personal devotion. An optional
excursion can be taken to visit the spectacular monasteries
of Batalha, Alcobaca, and the colorful fishing
village of Nazare. We will drive to the magnificent monastery
of our Lady of Batalha built by Joao I in gratitude to the
Virgin Mary. Visit the Shrine of our Lady Nazare in Nazare.
Return to Fatima.The remainder of the day is free for devotion.

DAY
5: Fatima/Salamanca/Burgos |

After breakfast, we cross into Spain to
arrive at Salamanca where St. John of the
Cross attended the 12th century university, which is the oldest
continuing university in the world. On to Burgos
where we |

celebrate the Eucharist,
followed by a tour of the flamboyant Gothic Cathedral. Visit the
chapel of the Holy Christ and Leonardo da Vinci's Mary Magdalena.
Dinner and overnight in Burgos. Alternately, we can take the overnight
express train via Spain to Lourdes, arriving next day at the great
pilgrimage center of Lourdes. |

6: Burgos/Lourdes |

Today we will continue
on to Lourdes, France. After checking in the hotel,
the remainder of the day at
leisure. In the evening, you may wish to join the pilgrims from
around the world in the Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight
Lourdes. |

7: Lourdes |

| |
Mass at the
Grotto of Apparitions - participate in a walking tour of Lourdes,
visiting the places associated with the life of St. Bernadette including
the Sanctuary; the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world's largest underground
church; and the baths where hundreds of miraculous cures have taken
place. Follow the Stations of the Cross. Later, join pilgrims from
around the world for a candlelight procession. |

8: Lourdes |

| |
Today is a free day for
personal devotion. An optional excursion can be taken to Bartres,
a small village where St. Bernadette was sent as a baby to a foster
mother. We will visit the family farm and see the room where she
lived. Mass will be in the same parish church where she prayed.
On the way back to Lourdes, we will see the sheepfold where St.
Bernadette used to look after the sheep.

9: Lourdes/Paris |

Upon arrival, you will
be met, assisted, and escorted for a full day city tour of Paris.
Today's guided tour of Paris will include the Champs Elysees,
the L'Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel
Tower, Sacre Coeur
and Mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral. Dinner and
overnight Paris. |

10: Paris/Nevers/Paris |

| |
IToday we enjoy a picturesque
drive South through the Loire Valley to Nevers.
We will visit the Convent of St. Gildard where
St. Bernadette's incorrupt body reposes and may be viewed. After
she was blessed with eighteen apparitions of the Virgin Mary at
Lourdes, St. Bernadette retired to Nevers.
Return to Paris for dinner and overnight. |

11: Paris/Lisieux/Paris |

| |
Mass at the Shrine of the
Miraculous Medel. We then travel northwest to the
town of Lisieux, the home of St. Theresa whom Pope
Piux X called "the Greatest Saint of Modern Times". We
then visit the Carmel Chapel, the Basilica
Cathedral of St. Peter, and Les Buissonets, family
home of "Little Flower". Return to Paris for dinner and
overnight. |

to the airport for your flight home. |
