deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Explore the perfectly
preserved buildings, including Panch Mahal Palace
and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. Dinner and overnight

the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan
in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz . Morning visit to the Taj Mahal, one

a mausoleum for his beloved Queen Mumtaj Mahal. Continue to Agra
Fort, started by Emperor Akbar and completed by three different
Mughal Emperors. Stroll the palaces, mosques and Halls of Public

and erotic images are the Chaunset Yogini Temple of Kali, the Bharatji
Temple with its 11-headed image of Vishnu and the Vraha Temple of
Shiva. This afternoon, fly to Varanasi. Arrive and transfer to your
hotel. Visit Bharat Mata Temple, with its map of India carved in
marble, the Durga Temple and the gold-spired temple of Vishwanath.

Take an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. Pass the bathing
Ghats, where Hindus come to immerse themselves to purify their
souls; and the burning Ghats, where bodies await cremation so
their ashes may be scattered in the river. Drive to the city of
Saranth, where Buddha gave his first sermon and view the ruins,
the stupa and the Buddhist Temple. Continue to the airport for
a flight to Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. Arrive and transfer to
the hotel in Kathmandu.
